While away on a camping trip with her family, Olivia stumbles across Forest in the woods. But Forest isn’t just another child from the campground-- he’s a wild child. Olivia is thrilled when she convinces her dad to let Forest come home, and stay with them--even with his one condition. And that one condition sure is a tall order, even for Olivia. She must teach Forest how to behave properly by the end of the week, when her grandmother is scheduled to visit. Will she be able to do it? Packed with silly situations, and lovable characters, this hilarious start to a new series is a great summer read for avid and reluctant young readers, alike.

Just like Forest from her chapter book series, Wild Child, she has a spirit of adventure, though she might use a zip line instead of swinging from tree to tree on a long, dangling vine. She has no official pets, but dozens of creatures tend to stop by her backyard treehouse on a regular basis.Dan Widdowson is a children's illustrator from Loughborough, England. He graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2014, and he has been working on children's illustration projects ever since. Dan has a keen interest in storytelling and narrative.
