This is book number 13 in the Chief Inspector Gamache Novel series.
I’m always disappointed when I pick up a Louise Penny book. Disappointed, because sooner or later I’ll have to put it down to clean the house, grocery shop, go to work. Because all I really want to do when I pick up a Louise Penny mystery is read it from cover to cover, without interruption! And Glass Houses does not dis-appoint. Told in a different style from her usual storytelling, it’s a balance of present day in the courtroom & then switching to when the events were actually happening. Very clever.— Susan
