The Hachette Book Club Brunch features a variety of acclaimed talents and bestselling authors!

The Narrative Nonfiction Panel will feature authors discussing the lives of women, including:

Liza Mundy (Code Girls); Kate Fagan (What Made Maddy Run); and Meryl Gordon (Bunny Mellon)

The Fiction Panel will feature literary authors sharing insights about their novels and their craft, including:

Betsy Carter (We Were Strangers Once); Brendan Mathews (The World of Tomorrow); and an additional author still to be finalized.

Featured Speaker

Emma Donoghue, award-winning and bestselling author of Room, will be a featured speaker to discuss her new book, The Wonderin which an English nurse brought to a small Irish village to observe what appears to be a miracle-a girl said to have survived without food for months-soon finds herself fighting to save the child's life. The Wonder works beautifully on many levels--a tale of two strangers who transform each other's lives, a powerful psychological thriller, and a story of love pitted against evil.

The day will conclude with a Special Book Club discussion with Madeline Miller, author of the forthcoming novel Circe. All attendees will receive an advance copy of the novel to read before the event.
