The Just the Right Book Podcast with Roxanne Coady brings you the stories behind the books, covering history and memoirs, business and tech, current issues and politics, and much more. Each episode, Roxanne talks to the very best contemporary nonfiction authors about books that are timeless and charming, provocative, and of the moment: these are the conversations you want to hear about the books you need to read.

FEATURED SPEAKERS

Roxanne J. Coady founded RJ Julia Booksellers in Madison, Connecticut in 1989, creating a business that is recognized as a national leader among independent booksellers. In 2009, Coady founded a personalized book subscription site, Just the Right Book. This site has a national reach and combines the intimacy of an independent bookstore with the digital marketplace. In addition, Coady hosts a podcast, Just the Right Book, in which she interviews best-selling authors and people in the bookselling and publishing community.

Lori Fazio is the Chief Operating Officer for RJ Julia Booksellers. Lori has worked for the bookstore for 14 years, in roles including bookseller, Children’s Room Manager, and General Manager. Lori likes a variety of genres but mostly reads both contemporary and historical fiction. In her free time, Lori enjoys yoga, paddle boarding, hiking in Vermont, and family time.

Andrew Brennan began working at RJ Julia Booksellers as a teenager. After over a decade in the film and TV business, he returned to his hometown bookstore as Head Buyer. Though you'll mostly see him reading mysteries, history, or science, Andrew appreciates a well-crafted book on any topic. If he isn't thinking about books, he is probably watching a movie or in the woods with his son.
